A very smart and handsome looking rich mahogany brass bound secretaire military campaign chest. This rich quality compact campaign has been lightly restored and is in good condition throughout- a great investment piece as quite hard to come by. The sunken flush mounted brass pulls add a lovely detail and and the chest boasts additional brass banding on all the edges for extra protection. This chest can be separated with handles on either sides which makes it ideal for moving.
It's a great piece that can be used in today's way of living with a chest that can also turn into a great additional work from home space or study station

Condition report
In fantastic antique condition throughout with some signs of age. A small burnt mark at the top as pictured. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches, fading and stains to the top , further marks and scratches to the sides, front and interior. One of the handles on the sides is missing.
The piece remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. The Overall, a great example of its kind.
