This is an absolutely stunning and unique gilt wood frame French mid century marble coffee table showing desirable Neo-classical features.
Raised on a beautiful mushroom foot into an elegant fluted tapering leg, capped with dome under foliate detailing. The porcelain inset miniatures to the centre of each face add beautiful detail.
There is fine gesso moulding to the rails with ornate Italianate flower block caps
The stunning marble upper slab, offering wonderful veining and rich colour, inset to a moulded edge offer wonderful proportions to this show stopping piece.

In great antique condition throughout as has been freshly polished. Overall, a lovely example of its kind. The marble is in fantastic condition. Just a couple of surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and fading.
