A beautiful set of black lacquered rectangular shaped graduating antique nest of tables with gilt chinoiserie design throughout. All three tables have hand painted gilt landscape scenes in relief which include pagodas, trees and people in traditional dress which are surrounded with a gilt border.
The tables stand on tapering turned legs which terminate to a shaped stretcher and out swept feet.
The tables are in overall good condition with some natural wear and tear on the smallest table consistent with their age.

Condition report:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches, fading and stains to the top (pictured). The tables have a little bit of wobble to them. Overall, a good example of its kind. Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home!
