This is a very handsome large 19th century French black painted bookcase.A true statement piece, it stands tall and proud with good shelf heights for displaying large books and decorative items as seen on the photos.
Featuring three internal shelves and a drawer at the very bottom this lovely piece is hand painted in a beautiful true vintage black with a very subtle distress.The fixed shelves and interior panelling have lovely rich tones stained to a beautiful chocolate tone which adds great depth.
